CUVÉE
LA GARENNE
To preserve the delicate nature of the grapes grown on the Garenne parcel, where the soil features more limestone, Burgundy oak barrels were necessary. When élevage takes place in these conditions, the wine develops a different type of roundness. It becomes fatter, affirming its personality, still fruity but with a magnificent long finish and a slight hint of minerals, giving the wine its particular elegance.

LES 3 PIERRES
Coming soon.
Deliberately artisanal in nature, Domaine Garde is proud to practise reasoned vine growing to guarantee both the good health of the plants and a wine that tastes exceptional. The wine-making process is based on native yeast. Grape harvesting is done by hand, as are all the other operations: pruning, bending, debudding, tying.
The success of the Domaine Garde wines from the first cuvée in 2011 among restaurateurs and wine merchants shows the appropriateness of the choices made: vinification and élevage, constantly seeking quality at all levels. The 2013 cuvée was particularly successful, with higher aromatic intensity, but also depth and length in the mouth.
David Garde and Frédéric Bonnepart are constantly researching and already have ideas for the future: why not try a new varietal, and eventually a late-harvest cuvée?
”When it comes to wine, nothing is ever taken for granted”, the two men point out, with the humility of great winemakers.
